Each And Every Day… (Audio)

This was my second post on February 6, 2021 as I began to map out my journey to gratitude with all of you. I created this audio version for persons who like to listen rather than read, and/or who like the experience of seeing and hearing daily inspirations. This posting is classified as #gratitudelite according to my posting on February 28, 2021 titled, Your Choice: Gratitude Zero, Gratitude Lite, or Gratitude Ultra.

Welcome to Guide to Gratitude (Audio)!

My first posting on #gratitudesquared was February 5, 2021. You have ALL been so supportive of these posts that I created an audio version for those who do not read, or prefer to listen. This post is tagged as #gratitudelite following the classification categories for #gratitude which I posted on February 28, 2021 titled, Your Choice: Gratitude Zero, Gratitude Lite, or Gratitude Ultra.

I Found A Surprise After Breakfast (Audio)

On February 21, 2021 I posted after my breakfast. For persons who may not enjoy reading, I post this audio version of that post for your listening pleasure. This is a #gratitudezero category of #gratitude following the classification for #gratitude that I first posted on February 28, 2021 titled, Your Choice: Gratitude Zero, Gratitude Lite, or Gratitude Ultra.

Our Gratitude Stream (Audio)

On February 7, 2021 I first posted a narrative on the source of my own gratitude stream based on my Mother’s teachings and parenting of me. This is a topic that is #gratitudeultra according to the categories I described in my posting on February 28, 2021 titled, “Your Choice: Gratitude Zero, Gratitude Lite, or Gratitude Ultra.

I read the posting to several individuals who did not read because of various disabling conditions and they seemed to value the messages for #gratitude from this audio version. Please enjoy listening to how gratitude is derived from your #moralvirtue, based on the teachings of values, beliefs, and ideals molding your own character as you move toward adulthood. Some of these values are taken directly from my mother’s poetry which was published in a book, A House Inside of Me Poetry by Marian Elsie Blake by Mary Blake Huer, available on Amazon.com.

Water, Ocean, Waves Spells WOW!

I love water…. I love all water…. the ocean is particularly fascinating and complex to watch as the waves change. Water is, at times, peaceful. On the other hand, water can be dangerous as during storms, when waterspouts form. What I would describe as “angry water” is noted during downbursts or microbursts, when squalls or gusts form from sharp shifts in wind direction. I love to visit the waves after a storm.

Mask On, Mask Off

Wearing masks has saved many lives during the past year and has slowed the spread of the virus. Unfortunately, the topic of masks has been politically charged this year, and confounded with personal freedom, preference, rights, and more. When we were asked to wear a mask, it was not always convenient. It was sometimes hot, uncomfortable, and limited our oxygen intake. People fought within stores because of masks. People yelled at each other, and became angry over masks.

The two little prepositions “on”, and “off” stirred our inner souls and emotions. Sometimes we forgot our masks and had to go back to get one. Sometimes we were forced to use masks by staff in stores. Sometimes we were denied access if we did not have a mask. People “burned” masks in protest. In 2019, who would have thought that a little “mask” could cause such debate? And so it continues…

Look Up!

I have loved clouds ever since I was a little girl. Once I tried to paint clouds. I remember my grade school oil painting of clouds and angels with a blue ladder to the Heavens. Clouds are amazingly unique in color, size, and shape. Some clouds float through the air. We fly through the clouds in airplanes. I love to ride in a plane by the window seat, listening to music and admiring the clouds… realizing that I am above the clouds, or on top of the clouds.

Masks – A Year In Review

It has been one year since we started seriously wearing masks, social distancing, washing our hands more frequently, and locking our lives down. I thought it might be fun to look at some of the masks I tried during this year. The real fun is actually those posts in which people are wearing underwear on their heads, wearing a bra as a mask, and more, but I do not have permission to post all those fun products so I looked back at some of my own. I hope you look at all of your masks too!

I started thinking about masks more seriously today when someone said

“Who would ever think we could wear a mask in a bank?”

Fun fact – Did anyone track how many bank robbers we had in 2020?

Gratitude Hunters

Gratitude is contagious! It really is…

As our Gratitude Squared community grows, you are all sharing photos, stories, ideas, and more with me about your “gratitude experiences“, and your involvement is fantastic! Today, Becca spotted this license plate that says “EVR G8FL“. Isn’t that cool?

Now I would ask you all to be careful when you spot something as I don’t want you to have an accident taking photos, following people, and expressing pure joy, especially when driving, but…… How special is this?

Today’s message is “Be EVER GRATEFUL”!

This is #gratitudezero. See the February 28, 2021 posting for a definition of gratitude categories.
